Some POSITIVE Informations about RESETTLED Bengali SC OBC Refugees in MADHYA PRADESH! Like everywhere wherever the SC OBC Refugees are resettled, in Madhya Pradesh also our People are PITTED against TRIBAL Human scape. But Chinmoy Babu claimed that the Refugees and Tribal People have very CORDIAL Relations and have a JOINT Front to fight for the cause. It is the most Positive thing which has NOT happened anywhere in India and which is the MOST URGENT thing for our sustenance in EXLUSIVE Economy and Politics of ETHNIC Cleansing! We do not have the ADVANTAGE in Maharashtra, Andhra, Orissa, Chhattishgarh and in Bengal. Ther are TWO Refugee cams in SINGHABHOOM in Jharkhand but they happen to be the most ISOLATED People!

Indian Holocaust My Father`s Life and Time -FIVE HUNDRED  SIXTY FOUR

http://basantipurtimes.blogspot.com/

It is shivering Cold in Bengal this Winter season. Our domestic help, Shobha comes from Taherpur near Krishnanagra where Bengali SC OBC refugees are resettled with Two cuttah Land as it was done ditto in Dhubulia, Tribeni, Ranaghat and other refugee camps in Bengal!

krishnangar has been among the most cold palaces in Bengal where minimum Temperature was 4.9 as in Baharampur.

Mulnivasi School is ULUBERIA is also shivering under cold as the mercury came down under 6 degree celsius.

In our area in DUDUM region it is around 8 degree for last fortnight.

Shobha and her folk get the train at 5AM in the Dawn under Mist. she is unwell for some days.

Today, she missed the train.

An old tribal lady, MINA was working at our home. She is also indisposed as she got her leg fractured.

My home is a Rented two Room set.

Last time, COLONEL Barves assured Sabita to visit us. But he could not. Sabita is very angry with our best friend! She was busy for days to accommodate our deraest friend!

As Meeradi and Khirod Dadabau landed at home, the space is reduced. First night, Sabita and me , slept on mattress on the floor.

From the next day, DIDI and Dadababu made us share the same Bed!

Last night , I reached home very late from my workplace in office Pull Car having covered Dumdum cant! It was 2.3o AM.

Didi and Dadababu wake up on 4 AM. They took Bath as they do not feel the stings of Cold as they belong to the Terai belt of the Himalayas inU.P.

At 5AM, they left sodepur by bus to get a bus to Ganga Sagar.

I got asleep fast. Then I woke up as the Land Phone rang violently.

It was a Phone call from Refugee Area in Baitul, Madhya Pradesh.

A twenty Three year old student BIPLAB MANDAL  called me after stumbling on my blogs. hed had several questions to be answered.

It is reminiscent of DSB College days in seventies while we were so much so inquisitive.

Our Generation of students in Nainital.

Biplab kept on calling and would not allow me to have my lunch.

Earlier, I had met some refugees from Baitul while I visited MOOL area in Garchiroli Forest region.

My father Late Pulin Babu did have contacts in MP united and had opposed the Marichjhanpi Adventure at the time. He was involved with refugee movement in Dandakarany covering all the Five states.

I personally had not any opportunity to visit BAITUL, PANNA, SATNA, NEMACH and CHHINDWARA refugee colonies as yet.

Biplb informed that they have been resettled in THIRTY SIX Refugee Villages in Baitul.

Then I called, Refugee Coordination committee leader CHINMOY Roy in Baitul and got some informations about resettled refugees inM.P.

Chinmoy babu  had to delay his lunch.

I am sorry.

I had NO choice as Biplab did ignite me.

The region is Originally inhibited by GOND and KORKU Tribal People!

These areas are under FIFTH Schedule!

Bengali refufugees are also settled in KHARGAUN, SATNA, PANNA, NEEMACH and CHHINDWARA districts .

Refugess also got Business Rehabilitation in almost all MP cities alike ORISSA and Rajasthan including major cities like BHOPAL, INDORE, Ujjain!

In Hoshangabad, there is a fishermen`s colony.

In Satna they have a dozen villages.

Chinmay Babu Confirmed the REFUGEE Status in M.P. as being bonded MObile VOTE Bank as it is the only option to sustain our existence anywhere in India, more truly in West Bengal where our People are the MOST Fighting Resilient FORCE to sustain the Brahaminial Hegemony.

Like everywhere wherever the SC OBC Refugees are resettled, in Madhya Pradesh also our People are PITTED against TRIBAL Humanscape.

There are TWO Refugee cams in SINGHABHOOM in Jharkhand but they happen to be the most ISOLATED People!

I am very hopeful if the Refugee Resettlement areas Replicate the MP Joint Front with the Tribal People, it would Not Only help them to sustain their Sustenance against Monopolistic Aggresion, EXCLUSION, Ethnic Cleansing, Economic Reforms, Land Aquisition, communal Conflict Masterminded by the Brahaminical Politics and Economics and finally from Maoist Menace.

Specifically, the Dandakaranya refugees stranded in Cross Fire and facing Serious Deportation and Ejection threats, should NOTE this with topmost priority!

It is Noticeabe that the siezable MP Refugee Popualation in MP does not Face SEGREGATION and Persecution, Nationwide Deportation Drive and Tagging as Bangladeshi.

The joint front has COME as a Safeguard while they are deprived of CONSTITUTIONAL safeguard and have no RESEVATION.

No Caste certificate.

But Chinmay Babu informed me that at least THREE Hundred of them belonging to Baitul Only do work in abroad and there is no Problem of Livelihood and employment as Education ratio is good despite the absence of reservation and quota!

Biplab was speaking in Hindi as he could NOT speak Bengali, though he knows english well!

Our People are DEPRIVED of Mother language out of Bengal.

And Generation Next has NEVR learnt Mother language!

But in Madhya Pradesh, the Refugees are previleged to read Bengali as a Subject though not in Bengali Medium.

Chinmoy Babu explained that Bengali is NOT related to Placement, Job and Livelihood, thus the young people are NOT so interested to learn a language irrelevant to their Career just for EMOTION or Sustenance of a Fragmented Degenerated Identity!

However, the Bengali Refugees in M.P. are lucky to have an opportunity for their children to learn Bengali, the Mother language.

Bengali refugees have such opportunity only in BIHAR and Jharkhand.

Uttarakhand, Orissa, Chhattishgarh and Maharashtra refugees had the opportunity once upon a time, at present they have lost it!

Biplab was insisting to Explain Discrimination against East bengal refugees and untouchability parcticed! While he admits that he also shares my experience but feel CONFUSED to think how it isin a Frepossible in a Free Democrat country. He wants to discuss at length.

I have tried my best to explain the reality and linking the missing links of history.

It seems unsufficient as No relevant matter is available and we lack the ACAMIC support.

Moreover, the mainstream multidimentional Misinformation Campaign, Mind control Game and knowledge Economy of Post Modern Galaxy Manusmriti rule has created the CONFUSION about own`s own Identity, legacy, roots and History.

Biplab says taht he would get MAD!

He is inquisitive and I hope that he would know the TRUTH sooner or later as I myself wasted full Four Decades dealing with Marxist and Maoist Brahaminical ideologies NOT having studied Aboroginal Indigenous History and AMBEDKARITE Ideology until NDA UP combine supported by the Marxists passed Citizenship amendment Act and launched NON stop Deportaion drive against our People and UNIQUE IDENTITY Disaster Aadhar project was launched!

Baitul has THIRTY Six Refugee colonies consisting of Eighty five families!

Only four Villages have Two hundred families each.

MATIKODOH, AMDIH, Shaktigarh and Dharampur.

Other villages are bishnupur,Batikidoh,Punji, Hirapur, Durgapur,Shantipur, Junhi, Chikolpur, Gopinathpur, Phulwria, Gandhigram, Narayangargh,Kolia and others.

This area is known as CHOPAN Refugee Camp unlike other Bengli refugee settlement whie Chopan is a bazzar only and Chinmay said that there was No Refugee Camp. Never had been.

The refugees were sent there since 1968 to 1970 from MP Refugee camps like MANA and Gondia!

They however got the Patta of Five Acre land each for only TEN years` Lease only too late after 1990.

Now , a land settlement survey is going on to settle the disputes and further Documentation.

The Refugees have NO Idea what to follow!

You have to reach CHOPAN , 18 KM aay from the nearest Railway station GHORADONGRI or you may get a BUS from ITARASI to reach there within a hour.

The area is under Reserved Assembly seat of GHORADONGRI.

Bengali Refugees have NO representation in MP Assembly or in the Parliament. But they have been elected in Local Bodies. Co Opted in the Brahaminical Politics and system , these people are said to CREAT the most of the Problems faced by the Refugees.

WCL coalfields surounds the area with SARNI Thermal Power Plant.

SEZ is not so far.

The TIGER Project is only TEN KM away and the REFUGEES are Persecuted on Forest and wild Life Protection.

Refugees have serious Problems with Forest Officials as the Tribal communities face the same problem!

Untouchability Modernised!

Ganesh -Kovai

UNTOUCHABILITY practices are going "modern" now. This was evident from the recent exposure in Nagarajapuram, a village that is there in the outskirts of Coimbatore city. In the name of resettling the dalits, they were driven to almost no man's land years ago. But the expansion of the city and its sub-urban areas brought them near again. So the profit minded real estate companies have resorted to a new strategy to keep dalits away from their area. Blocking the way for dalits to have access to the area, they expect the value of the land to remain high.

This has happened in many places and Nagarajapuram was no different. In this place, hundreds of dalit families are living since 1976. The real estate promoters have built a wall that was measuring 10 feet in height and 2 feet in width and the length is close to a kilometre. To have direct access to the main road, therefore, most of the people had to take many extra steps. The building of the wall did not happen overnight. But the landowners of the other side did it clandestinely. It was carried out during the last two years. Dalit people on the other side woke up only when the last 30 metres length of the path was closed.

A team led by U K Sivagnanam, district convenor of the Tamilnadu Untouchability Eradication Front (THUEF) recently visited the spot. When the team was convinced that this is an untouchability wall indeed, TNUEF decided to take up the issue. Next day, Tamil daily Theekkathir prominently published the news and that created tremors in the administration. At the very first sight, the officials were convinced that the wall was unlawful. The sketch for the plots also showed a 30 metres path. The people also complained to the officials that the closure of the path had made them feel like imprisoned. The only hitch was that the wall itself was on the border of not only for two panchayats but of two taluks as well. This did not deter the TNUEF to press for the demolition of the wall. A series of agitations was planned.

Expecting a backlash, the district administration acted fast lest there was some mass action. On December 25, revenue officials demolished two portions of the untouchability wall. These two stretches of 30 feet and 23 feet now provide the dalit people direct access to the main road. Though the structure has remained largely intact, the purpose of the land promoter has been defeated. Just after the demolition, one could find joyful women and children walking through the newly restored path.

Uthapuram was just a beginning in of exposing the untouchability walls in Tamilnadu. Somebody sought to belittle its impact by saying that villages are yet to be radicalised. Another wall in Periyar Nagar, that is in the heart of "South India's Manchester," i.e. Coimbatore city, exposed that too. One more wall was found in the municipal limits of Trichy. Now in the news is Udumalpet, a small town in Tirupur district. A wall has been raised by a realtor to block the way for dalits.

The world is getting modernised. Yet the caste oriented society somehow finds space to land its feet. The landing is atrocious. The TNUEF, through its well oiled machinery, has conducted many surveys. In its first state conference, a list of atrocities was released. But the recent problems have brought new varieties of atrocities. In another village near Coimbatore, a Dalit cannot talk on his cellphone in front of a caste Hindu. He has to switch off his phone or cut the call. When this came up, A Raja of the "spectrum" notoriety was the union telecom minister. This village falls in his constituency.

"SOFTWARE" FOR
UNTOUCHABILITY
Another incident of untouchability has crossed all the limits. One Mr Jayan had registered himself with tamilmatrimony.com in order to find a life partner. He is a Christian and was registered in that category. When a few proposals came for him, he surfed some of the profiles. In one profile, "caste no bar" was mentioned. He was happy to see that. But his happiness did not last for more than a moment. The very next column said "SC/ST excuse." Jayan was furious to see that. He did not stop there.

He called up the contact number and blasted them. His argument was: people may prefer one or another particular caste in the matrimony ads, but how come these people could say, "we do not want these and these castes." He rang up a few newspaper offices to give vent to his anger. He said, "This is untouchability modernised. In fact, the website that offers this service should pull up its socks. The software that serves the purpose of casteist requirements should be thrown away by the tamilmatrimony.com."

The TNUEF had listed around 85 types of atrocities committed upon dalits in Tamilnadu. In the states where the survey has been done, Gujarat stands first. As many as 99 types of atrocities have been listed by the Navsarjan, a non-profit voluntary organisation. It seems that Tamilnadu is now poised to take Gujarat over by creating new, "modern" types of atrocities.
The impact of the agitations run by the TNUEF is being felt. The people have started looking up to the TNUEF for solving their problems concerning social issues. Uthapuram is leading from the front. Wherever an untouchability wall is found, people take inspiration from Uthapuram. The unsolved problems in Uthapuram make the people more steely. The TNUEF has announced a series of programmes for the next year. The year 2011 is going to be an eventful year for the TNUEF.

VENMANI
LAUNCHED
CPI(M) state secretary G Ramakrishnan released the quarterly magazine of TNUEF, Venmani, at Venmani village on December 25, 2010. The quarterly is named so in the memory of Venmani martyrs. It was in the fitness of things that the magazine was launched on the day of their martyrdom. In less than a month of the announcement that such a magazine is going to be launched, insurance employees belonging to the All India Insurance Employees Association mobilised 1,500 yearly subscriptions for Venmani. The first issue of Venmani has come out with the draft charter of demands including the incorporation of a dalit sub-plan in the state budget.
