Indian diplomacy fails to end the stand off across borders and open trade may not help it.

Is Narendra Bhai Modi a better orator? I am confused.I always regarded Sushma Swaraj as a better orator in the present day BJP leaders. But the so much so hype about Modi`s speech in SAARC summit Kathmandu throws me into a puzzle whether the speech of the leader of a nation who is projected as a global leader is all about language work which may not touch heart, mind or senses.

SAARC irrelevant without peace in the bleeding geopolitics subjected to infinite holocaust and eternal apartheid!

Barring better Indo-Pakistani ties, however,SAARC and the region's only options are a "small" SAARC or the failure ofSAARC to be meaningful. India may not be able to compete with China all over Asia, but it still has a chance at remaining the sole regional hegemony,a hindutva hegemony of brutal apartheid! The leaders of the eight SAARC countries had expressed frustration with the slow pace of progress towards greater regional integration since the group first launched nearly three decades ago.

Indian diplomacy fails to end the stand off across borders and open trade may not help it.Analysts have blamed Saarc's failure on the mutual mistrust between Pakistan and regional powerhouse India, which has taken a more assertive stance toward its neighbour since the election of a Hindu nationalist government in May. The thaw on Thursday helped soothe the other Saarc nations' frustration, which new Afghan president Ashraf Ghani called a failure of political will.Result?

The failure to push through any of the three agreements supposed to be signed at the 18th Saarc summit in Kathmandu yesterday proved the member countries are rather more interested to go for bilateral deals.

Bengal Chief Minister Ms Mamata Banerjee says that Modi hype is media managed and his global audience is portable.I might not be that harsh as Modi is representing Indian republic as well as us,the people of India.I am not a politician and may not write or speak in political language .My question, however, remains unanswered whether Modi represents India at all or he is the prime minister of global Hindutva aligned with US interests representing the global free market economy.

Now see the pictures and videos from Kathmandu.Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday exchanged pleasantries with Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif during the SAARC retreat in Nepal.Ironically this happens.Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday exchanged pleasantries with Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif during the SAARC retreat in Nepal.

This is,of course, the perfect picture of SAARC Summit in Kathmandu. It is but quite in contrast in comparison to the picture we got from the same venue while Pak President Janab Parvez Musharraf shook Indian Prime minister Atal Bihari`s hand in 2002 and from the SAARC forum,in 2004,Pakistan declared that it would not allow its land to be used against India.President Musharraf also said the growth of Indian economy is an opportunity for SAARC nations including Pakistan.

The scenario is quite different this time.

Despite political compulsions at home both Vajpayee and Musharraf recognised to continue the peace process outside the stage and media blitz.Diplomacy is not anything like box office opening,it should be understood.Playing to the gallery may prove fatal, suicidal which the Indian Prime Minister and his counterpart are exactly doing.Worse it is Modi is modifying foreign policy and diplomacy in accordance to RSS agenda sacrificing national interests. The national interest is peace without which we may not ensure internal security despite the presence of proactive CIA and Mossad offering help to intensify the war against terror.

Vajpayee is the only Indian leader who recognised the facts as he managed this challenge as disaster management. If you may not abort the calamity, please do everything to control its impact. Thus,Vajpayee did everything as a splendid diplomat to stop Pakistan allowing its land to be used by Anti India element.I hope that I have not to discuss the trouble zones under direct Pak intervention.

We should have learnt a lesson from the liberation of Bangladesh that the no military rule,no support from superpower may ensure the unity and integrity of a nation if you have not peace as topmost agenda.I am afraid the ruling hegemony is not concerned at all and the tense Indo Pak relations would continue to lose hell across the political borders all over the geopolitics.it is not going free market economics as trade grammer puts peace on topmost agenda.

I am sorry to say the legacy of Vajpayee is forgotten by the prime swam sevak who has incidentally taken over the helms.Indian hegemony as well as diplomacy missed the opportunity in Kathmandu to put back Indo Pak relations back on track and SAARC summit fails.Rather Modi concentrated to promote selfies of Hindutva which serves the cause of the revival of Hindu Nation in Nepal and it is not going the Hindutva agenda either.

I, personally, had never been supporting Vajpayee`s politics at all at any level, bust always praised him for his diplomacy which never failed.

Even while he was in opposition ,it was Vajpayee only who headed Indian diplomacy and India abroad at a time most critical when seventh US fleet entered Indian ocean to stop India liberating Bangladesh.

We always praise Indira Gandhi for her military success but fail as a nation to credit Vajpayee for his unprecedented diplomatic mission.

We know all about UN,Gatt,WTO,IMF and so one which dictates the norms of Indian diplomacy and targets nation with monopolistic corporate aggression to extend free market economy making borders irrelevant as far as open trade is concerned and it has become the only agenda of Indian diplomacy since 1991.

The political class, the entire lot of the children of neo liberalism cares least about the peace most needed in the bleeding geopolitics.

Without peace at Indo Pak borders,SAARC remains quite irrelevant whatever may be official communique or the media reports. All speeches means nothing if it fails to end with a note to enhance bilateral relations.

In a face saver, SAARC countries today signed a framework agreement on cooperation in power sector but failed to finalise the much-awaited motor vehicle and railway pacts for greater people-to-people contact and movement of goods due to opposition from Pakistan.

There were hectic efforts to pursue the Pakistani side, which stalled the inking of the pacts on the pretext that internal processes were not completed following which three months' time was set for getting approval.

The disappointment over failure to sign the pacts was visible among the Nepalese leaders who were trying very hard to make the summit a "success".

The framework energy pact will enable cooperation in the power sector among the eight member countries and facilitate integrated operation of the regional power grid.

Pakistan's opposition to connectivity pacts came notwithstanding strong push by all member countries to have these pacts for greater transport links in the region.

"A time period of three months have been set for approval to the Motor Vehicle and Railway pacts," Nepal's Prime Minister Sushil Koirala, who is also the SAARC chair, said in his address at the concluding session of the 18th summit of the regional grouping.

Diplomats said the agreements have discussed at various senior levels and there had been no objection from any country and earlier no one had indicated that they needed approvals of their internal processes.

As media reports say SAARC Summit fails.Just see:

South Asian leaders overseeing a quarter of the world's people were struggling to agree on how to ease trade barriers in the region as India and Pakistan continued a decades-long fight over a disputed border.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to meet every regional leader, except Pakistan counterpart Nawaz Sharif, for a one-on-one meeting during a gathering in Nepal starting Wednesday. Leaders of the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (Saarc), previously held a summit in 2011.

Failure to agree on cross-border travel and electricity supply would risk derailing Modi's plan to turn the bloc into a regional force that could counter China's growing influence. Beijing's leaders have promised to invest part of a $40-billion Silk Road fund on infrastructure in South Asia.

"As of now, despite us trying very hard and several other countries keen to have concrete agreements on connectivity and electricity, there is no conclusive decision," Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Syed Akbaruddin said on Tuesday in Kathmandu. "One state has indicated they are yet to complete their internal processes." Akbaruddin reiterated Modi wasn't scheduled to meet Sharif on the trip, reflecting a deterioration in ties since the Pakistani leader travelled to New Delhi in May to attend Modi's swearing-in ceremony as prime minister. India in August scrapped talks with Pakistan after its diplomats held meetings with Kashmir separatist leaders. That was followed by the worst border firing between the countries in a decade.

"We have been shouting from the top of the roof that we are ready for meaningful dialogue," Akbaruddin said. "But emphasis is on meaningful, and in Pakistan they know very clearly what we mean." Sharif on Wednesday said he had a vision for a dispute-free South Asia, in an address to Saarc leaders. He's open to resuming talks if India makes a request, Musadaq Malik, a spokesperson, told reporters in Islamabad.

The agreements under discussion would allow free movement of vehicles among Saarc nations and make it easier for goods and people to cross borders. They would also allow for seamless railway services between countries and enable surplus electricity producers to supply nations that are in deficit.
