Ambedarites in United Kingdom have always been fighting for the rights of Dalits in that country. Their contribution is enormous in organising protest and lobbying with the UK government in developing anti caste legislations. Sharing with you photographs send to me by friend Arun Kumar, one of the very few who have a complete documentation of the work of Ambedkarites in UK. Arunji has been a force in organising protest and participated in different meeting called by the UK government. Now the government of UK want to put on hold the legislation passed by the Parliament due to tremendous pressure by the Hindu lobby and is being backed by some of the MPs of Indian Origin. We know with their combine strength the Dalits in UK will win the battle and make an example for other NRIs to organise such protest in their own country if caste system and discriminatory practices are prevalent there.
